As a young adult I participated in monthly somatic retreats to learn how to feel into my body and hold space for others in their healing process. During this time I also attended the University of Alaska Anchorage studying anatomy & physiology and psychology courses. After graduating from the Rolf Institute of Structural Integration in 2015 I continued the retreats as one of the in-house bodyworkers.
My work is inspired by a passion to learn how the body interacts and responds to physical and emotional trauma. I have continued exploring the connections between relationships with ourselves as individuals, others, and the natural world through trainings geared towards nerves, biodynamic craniosacral therapy, movement workshops and most recently somatic experiencing therapy.
In my free time I road trip around the US teaching myofascial release workshops at festivals around the country.
